An electric guitar is a guitar that uses one or more pickups to convert the vibration of its strings into electrical signals. The vibration occurs when a guitarist strums plucks, picks, slaps or taps the strings.
Electric guitars tend to look a little complicated due to the electronic switches on them. However the core features of the guitar are exactly the same. The electric guitars are generally expensive as the electronic components are costly, also they require an amplifier. When it comes sounds it can produce, its humongous!! Distortions and effects can be added using effect pedals. There are hundreds of different effect pedals
